| 有史料记载，当年燕王朱棣挥师南下，与自己的侄儿建文帝朱允文争夺帝位时路过野三坡，见到成群的松鼠跳下树来，欢腾活跃，仿佛在讨赏一般，感觉小动物对他都毕恭毕敬的，更何况人民呢？于是龙颜大悦就下令免除了野三坡山民的丁粮。从此，松鼠就成为野三坡的吉祥物。 According to historical records, when Zhu Di, the king of Yan, went south to compete for the throne with his nephew, Emperor Jianwen, Zhu Yunwen, he passed through the three slopes of the country.
